On April 25th James The Mormon released the viral hit "Motivation".
The juxtaposing concepts of rap, differing ethnicities, and Utah / the LDS religion made it something everyone in the State just had to talk about.
The single from the creators first secular album "I'm Not a Rapper" was a hit and by April 28th had topped the iTunes Hip Hop charts. The following week the album was #1 on Billboard for the Heatseekers category and #21 for all of Hip Hop albums that week.

On Aug 8th James The Mormon teamed up with American Idol season 7 runner up David Archuleta.
The video & single gained incredible amounts of traction and charted in iTunes in the first 2 hours of being release. It also hit over a million views in 24 hours.
After a weeks worth of traction it charted regionally on Billboard and was the #2 song in the west coast for a few weeks and received a considerable amount of radio play. The song has been since been requested in various commercials and to be featured on H&M's in store playlist.

On September 14th James released "Tellin You Y". After the Nation exposure of his last BYU anthem "Dreamin" in 2015 he decided to repeat the same formula with an anthem for 2016.
With cameos like Danny Ainge, Isiah thomas, Ziggy Ansah, & Kyle VanNoy, and Heisman trophy winner Ty Detmer the Video became an instant Nationwide hit totaling over a million views in the first 3 days and has since been featured on Pop Sugar, NBC sports, and the social media of both the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics.
