Weekend of Nostalgia PT 1 / by James Curran

This has been one of the busiest weekends of my life; chalk full of family, friendship, and memories.

Starting off, this Wednesday, I had the privilege of picking up my future Brother-in-law Elder Blake Lovin at the airport and then dropping him off at the MTC.

Our trip to the MTC started with SCHEELS  which is a store in Sandy, UT that combines a sporting goods store with a Carnival and Presidential Museum......?

Next I insisted that Blake enjoy the same pre-MTC meal as I did and took him to IHOP in Provo where on Wednesdays, Missionaries eat free ; ) And after some phone calls, tears, and long embraces we dropped him off at the MTC to prepare for his long and distant journey to the Salt Lake City East Mission

He just looks Good.

I had the opportunity to share a tender tear-filled experience with Elder Lovin as he received a phone call from his Sister. This particular Lovin sister has chosen a different Christian faith for her path, so it was incredibly touching to see this Sister be so supportive of ....
